Ja, Sie sollten zumindest Grundkenntnisse der Sprache in Ihrer Region haben, aber Sie müssen während Ihres Aufenthalts an einem Sprachkurs teilnehmen, damit Sie viele Möglichkeiten haben, sich zu verbessern!
Die Höhe des Taschengeldes richtet sich nach dem Alter des Au-pairs und dem Kanton, in dem es während seines Au-pair-Aufenthaltes wohnt. In der Regel liegt der Betrag bei etwa 500 bis 800 CHF pro Monat.
Die Arbeit eines Au Pairs in der Schweiz besteht hauptsächlich aus der Betreuung der Kinder, kann aber durch Haushaltsarbeiten wie Staubsaugen, Geschirrspüler einräumen und Wäsche waschen unterstützt werden. Das sind etwa 30 Stunden pro Woche. Die restliche Zeit kannst du das Land erkunden oder mit Freunden abhängen!
Au Pairs haben mindestens einen Tag pro Woche frei. Je nachdem in welchem Kanton das Au-pair wohnt, können andere Freizeitregelungen gelten.
Der Urlaub hängt vom Alter des Au Pairs ab. Bis zum 20. Lebensjahr erhält das Au-pair 5 volle Wochen Urlaub pro Jahr. Au Pairs über 20 bekommen 4 Wochen Urlaub pro Jahr.
In der Schweiz gibt es keine offiziellen Feiertagsregelungen für Au Pairs. Wir empfehlen Au Pairs, an Feiertagen einen Tag frei zu nehmen, um die Schweizer Kultur kennenzulernen!
